We are wild geese who travel far around the world, covering thousands of miles each fall and spring. I'm the lead goose among the Ostheimer Canada geese and I guide our migration when we fly through the air.

Since children mostly encounter geese on a farm or in picture books, the white geese and the goose shephardess have long been part of our collection. But inspired by book The Wonderful Adventures of Nils, Stephan Zech created the Ostheimer Canada geese, which are a tribute to the wild, free migratory birds.
